iTunes random plays

So, this morning I'm really procrastinating on cleaning the house. I hate cleaning, but I love when the house is clean. I got a new febreeze scent that I really like - I just need to get cracking, so I can enjoy the day. Later today I'll be running my first all-out mile with a friend. We're gonna hit the track at EIU. Wish me luck! I've cut 4 minutes off of my 5.18 mile loop in the past week, so I'm feeling good, but I don't really have a goal for this mile. I'm wondering if I could pull off an 8 min mile... We'll see.

Anyway, my iTunes library is currently on shuffle. Here's what's popped up:

Absolute - The Fray

Halleluja - Vitamin String Quartet (Paramore)

City - Sara Bareilles

32 Flavors - Alana Davos (originally by Ani DiFranco)

Love Ridden - Fiona Apple

23 - Jimmy Eat World

Everything I said - The Cranberries

This started off as a list of song that played randomly on my iTunes library... but I guess it evolved into a list of some of my favorite
"sad old bastard music". I've been trying to find something that suits my mood right now, but nothing seems to fit today. I just keep going to
the next song....

  1. you're totally correct, blakely. i could not, for the life of me, remember how it went when I was putting my post together. i hate when that happens. :(

and as pointed out, the first song isn't one of my favorites. it was the first song that came on. as i continued hitting "next" i couldn't find anything that I particularly felt like listening to all the way through. i finally gave up and started choosing my songs. it was one of those days.
